Educated in Milan, where she was born, and in New York, Maria Morganti now lives and works in Venice, Italy.  Her paintings, with their clean edges, positioning and complex internal layering, provide Morganti with a means to further her investigation of shades and shapes.  Among the other venues where she has exhibited are Galerie Arnaud Lefebvre, Paris; Galleria Piuma Arte Moderna, Milan; Galleria Il Disegno, Montua; Galleria Nuovo Icona, Venice; Galleria Faustini, Florence; Trans Hudson Gallery, New York; and Museo di San Donato, Milan.
